Thomas Williams is director of business development at GovernmentCIO Media & Research. He joins the company after leading the defense, homeland security, health care, and nuclear weapons and cleanup media and events properties at Access Intelligence.
He has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of media, agency, corporate and government marketing. Williams has created content as well managed business operations for local newspapers, high-tech publications and manufacturing-focused publications at BNP Media, Reed Business Media, Chilton, IHS, CMP and others. He has also run successful global marketing and communications operations in the high-tech sector, as well as developed marketing, content and sales strategies from his role as an agency account executive.
When he’s not at work, you’re likely to find Williams enjoying college football, on the local golf course, catching up on the latest thriller novels or trying a new recipe in his kitchen. His two children keep him energized both at home and while exploring the greater Washington, D.C. area.
