The Federal Emergency Management Agency reaches a major milestone in its Event Logging Maturity following the release of the Office of Management and Budget M-21-31 memorandum asking federal agencies to increase information-sharing around cyber incidents.

Software companies like Exterro are also working to help agencies like FEMA create solutions that will protect their data. Exterro offers a forensic tool kit platform that combines forensics with incident response workflow.
