The agency's innovations in technology are bolstering national security nationwide.
University-led Centers of Excellence at the Department of Homeland Security's Science & Technology Directorate conduct research and development on topics of interest to the overall agency's mission. The COEs' work sharpens not only DHS activity, but also its IT functions.
